Default Problem with Brembo BBK

Hi guys..

I have hust buyed a brand new Brembo Big brake kit of 13" from a member (ap1bydesign super seller !!! ) and have try to install on my car..i have work emotions Cr Kai in 17x7" front and 17x8 " rear et is the same +47

The problem is that the calipers are so big and i need spacers..i think that 5 mm spacer is enough but no!

The right spacers are 13 mm ...and i must change more parts like bearings and colums.. the question is if i put those spacers (13mm) i have problem in driving? i think that the wheels are outing the car..and for rear?? I need other spacers or not ..

Some of you have installed brembo 13" kit? any suggetions for me?

i'm down

so much money to spend in..

thank you anticipately

greetings from italy..

13mm is going to push your front wheels pretty far outward. I hope you're not lowered. You should be ok on stock height. You'll need longer studs, that's about it. The rears I think is just a pad and rotor change, so no need for spacers there. Good luck. That's a nice brake setup.

You should do a search. I used to run brembos with my BBS RG-R's but I saw people here running CR KAI's and brembos without spacers, or at least, they stated the were not running any spacers...

Buy the +43 fronts and you will be fine with a 5 mm spacer. +47 is to high to run with those calipers. I had the Spoons (same size as brembo) and all I needed was a 5mm spacer. I ran that setup for 6 months with no problems.

thank you brothers..

But..

How is possible that with the et 43 wheels only are ok and with a 4mm spacer (47 - 43 ) no?? I try and measures but 13 mm is the last secure distance (the spoke of cr kai is on 2-3 mm to caliper) ..is no important if i must put some spacers or not..the important thing is if i can run an drive fast in security..i use the car often on track..and i dont like vibrations or usnsecure car in high speeds..

if i put spacers and the front wheels are out of 26 mm total ( two 13's spacers) and nothing on rear is a problem?? the rear emotions are so out just now!!(are (17x8" + 47) i hope is ok..

ah for last..i have a tein flex damper kit..so i can adjust the heigth...is so low now
Bye and sorry my bad english..

If you going to get the work CR Kai, they only come in 17x7 +42. I used to run the CR (non-Kai and the CR Kai). For the CR (non Kai), you can fit the Spoon calipers with 5mm spacers but with the CR Kai, you will need +6mm spacer to clear it, for some reason the CR Kai are not built evenly.

You can try getting the ASM fiberglass front fenders. That will give you an extra +25mm of space on each side. As for handling, it may understeer a bit more, but I don't see why it'd be unstable at speed.

AjPwr i had the cr kai..i had buy over 6 month ago.. and are in +47 front and rear..

I just talk with my mechanic he must install some 13 mm spacers..(12 are ok but one more for security distance from spoke to caliper) i must change the studs with some longer (15 mm + ) and the wheels bearings beacuse the will broken when pushing off it.. i hope that the wheels are into the fenders or to the limit..and i must raise some mm the car..next week i have a important track day and i would like to test the BBK..(i have change the old project Mu SCR pro rotors and project mu hc titan kai pads the were gorgeus!!)

There you go. I didnt have the kai either. I guess it was a +42 not +43. Should work with a 5mm spacer with the non kai.
