Problem with driver side window
I finally got my car back, after only 4 days in the shop.
First the good news:
The "regulator" fixed my window problem... I hope this one lasts longer than the old one.
I made them change my manual transmission fluid (charged me $60), my shifter is smooth as butter... man its awsome. Don't care what the honda manual says, you should change your MTF within the first 4K miles.
Now the bad news . . .
I was also having my peeling bumper fixed, unfortunatly it looks really bad. They offered to try again, dunno if thats a good idea. I now have a really shallow scratch on the other panel. And my whole bumper is missaligned. I'll take pics later and post them.
Anybody have any ideas on what I should do about the bumper? Should I ask for a new one? Should I let them try again? or should I just go to another dealer all together....?
The other bad thing is they broke my crank lock assembly while fixing the window... they did fix it under warrenty, so no biggy. Just kinda sucks to think of how careless they were while working on my door.

hey S2k_Scott, this same exact thing happens to me, exactly!!
My window started doing the same thing. In addition I put my top half way down, then stop, get out my window roll, put it in place, then continue putting the top down. When I stop the top, the windows stop as well, when I lower it the rest of the way the passenger window goes down but the driver stays at half. This just started happening. Anyone else?

Just started happening this week. I was putting the top down, looking over my right shoulder to make sure the top goes all the way down. I look to the left.... What the hell is my window still doing up!!?!
mine is going in for it's 4th unit.
here's the chronology:
original went at 8K
1st replacement and 16K
2nd replacement is dead at 25K
hmmmmm
anyone see a pattern here?
maybe they need to update the part, not just replace it!
