Thumbs up Problem with Right Rear Suspension

I put new tires and rims on my S2000 they do stick out a little and there is rubbing but only on the passenger rear side. If someone is in the car with me or there is gear in my trunk and I hit a bump like on the freeway for example I get this loud like cruching noise... Sounds like it is metal on metal. I took the wheel off but didn't see anything wrong with the actual suspension nor was anything loose. The right side sits almost 1/2" lower then the left side. I have 68,000 miles on the car and it is an '03.

Not sure how long shocks are supposed to last and I don't know how you can really tell if you have a blown shock.

I am guessing if I do have to replace it I should go ahead and replace all 4 with some coilovers.

Thanks for anyone's help/suggestions.

6 years and 70,000 miles = old shocks. You could keep them, but I would change them. A ton of S2000s sit a little lower on one side, and alot sit higher in the front than in the back, as reported here on s2ki so often.
