Clutch ENGAGING VERY HIGH?
Just got back from a buddys house where we replaced my master clutch cylinder.
Long story short. My master clutch cylinder was blown. Everytime i would engage vtec or take the rpms all the way up my clutch pedal would lose pressure and feel extremely soft and then would come back after about 5 minutes of driving. Looked at the inside of the master clutch cylinder and saw that there was alot of grease rite at the ball joint.
My friend a good honda weekend warrior mechanic (but not extremely familiar with the s2k) knew that that was a sign it was blown along with my pressure loss at high rpms.
So .... bought one. Replaced it. Bled it. Driving home...... and now the engagement on my cluth is very high. Meaning to me that it engages toward the very end of letting out the clutch.......... rev matching feels bad because it engages so far back.
does anyone know how to adjust the engagement? IDK IF THERE IS A WRITE UP ONE THIS...... S2k masters....... lmk! lol thanks for your input in advance brothers

when you installed the master cyl, do you remember how it was? At the tip of the master cylinder, where it attaches to the pedal, there is a square piece. this piece is held secure by a lock nut behind it (or in front? i forget, if you look at it you'll see what im talking about.).
Remove the pin thats holding it to your pedal, Loosen the lock nut, then twist the square bracket forward or backwards depending which way you want the clutch adjustment to go. After you set it, keep the lock nut loose, put a different pin in the bracket (for now). then try start up the car /engage gears/start, etc. If you feel it 'clunking' w. the clutch pedal to the floor, you have to move the engage point higher...kleep doing this itl you set it to what you like, then put the real pin back in, tighten the lock nut, and youre done!

No prob sir! if you have any questions just PM me...if no one gets back to you on this post. It really IS that simple. What sucks is getting your head under the dash and taking out that fkkin pin. That pin has got to be the worst designed pin ever.
i'm pretty sure the clutch in the S isn't designed to adjust the engagement point like a lot of other cars...it's self-adjusting, the engagement point gets further out as it wears. how many miles are on your car?
