Default problems after trackday

Hi, everyone, after the last 2 trackdays i have problems in the gear box.
The 1st time i couldn´t put the 6th gear ( but in the track i dont use it, only until the 5), and trying and forcing i little bit finally i could put the 6th and works well then. But in the 2nd time, the 6th enter so difficult, and it is almost impossible to remove it, It´s very hard to put neutral. I change the oil to Redline MT90, maybe this is the problem?, because other trackdays few months ago i had no problems.

regards

Sometimes a ragged shift into third at high rpm will clip fifth affecting the sleeve which is also is needed to shift into sixth. Repeated forcing the shift between 5 and 6 can clear some damage and restore operation. A fluid change afterwards is prudent.

Did you ever miss your 2/3 upshift and hit 5th? If so that is your problem, you put a bur on the gears. I had the same issue and you have to run to 7k in 5th, drop to 6k, back to 7k and keep repeating a few times. Then with the car parked and off, clutch in shift between 5th and 6th 100 times. This should clean the gears.

your clutch maybe going out. Set some money aside for that.

I had a track day, and blew a spring. this did not let me change gears.

I’m guessing this would be safer to do while the car is on 4 jack stands. 7k in 5th gear for AP1 is over 100mph
