Default Problems going into 1st and reverse

Putting it in first or reverse takes a lot of effort. I seen a couple of threads on how to fix it. Also my clutch is sticky too. I just bleed my clutch and it went away and came back again (the sticky clutch). I have yet worked on fixing my first and reverse problems. Im just double checking with everyone if i should do these following steps to fix my 1st and reverse problems:
https://www.s2ki.com/stor/library/TSB/A02-046/index.htm

https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=gmai...JWeQX23vA&pli=1
(on page 2)

and for my clutch problem should i try to polish the rod in the slave cylinder?

thank you everyone whos been very helpful!

im having the same problem. over time it was getting harder and harder to shift into first and reverse during a cold start. one time it was so bad, i was late for work, i had to put it in neutral and push it out of my driveway, hop in, and use the momentum to get out of my driveway.

I recently bled and refilled the clutch fluid. it fixed the problem, but overtime, i can feel the shifting get notchy again. how would we fix this once and for all?

When i depress the clutch it sticks to the ground and takes a second to pop out and by then my foot is already off the pedal.

Change tranny oil? Check the the slave cylinder for the nippled end. My reverse is a little resistant, although I already know I have all the symptoms of the nippled slave and I do need to change my tranny oil.

Also take a look at this: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=772277

I plan on doing that this weekend

same thing with me. especially if its in the 30s it doesnt go into 1st or reverse.

To fix this what i did was shift into either 2nd or 4th then back to 1st or reverse.

Check your system for a leak. if you cant see anything check underneath on the slave cylinder around the rubber cover.
