Default Problems with Omni quick launch clutch

Hey all,
I've installed the Omni quick launch master cylinder and its an Awesome product. BUT lately i've noticed when the car is warmed up a little it holds pressure in the hyd lines and because of this is doesn't disengage the clutch all the was and you get massive clutch slippage.
Am i forgetting to adjust something or have i done something wrong?? The only way the clutch feel returns to normal is to bleed a bit of the fluid out or let the car cool down over night..
Please help!!

Join the club. Exact same thing happened to one of my customers. Even with the pushrod not touching the master, it was holding hyd pressure.

Check under the dash, and be sure the master piston is not partially pushed in by the clutch rod. If so, adjust it so you have very slight play.

If the adj is good, send that junk back. Never again will I install one of these for my customers.

From what I heard OMNI has a good return policy, so if it doesn't end up working then you should be fine getting your money back

Hope it workes though, cuase my buddy has it on his EG and it was a really nice feel.

You mean the clutch is not "engaging" all the way.

If the push rod is not touching the piston in the master cylinder, I don't see why the system would hold enough pressure to partially dis-engage the clutch. This is not a good thing. Sounds like there are bugs that need to be worked out. For now, you may want to put the stock clutch master cylinder back in, otherwise your clutch will get toasted.

I agree with Billman, the Omni clutch master has a serious design flaw.

You should post your experience with the product in the Omni sale thread.

Mine works GREAT, short stroke, instant engagement, does what I would expect it to do...maybe you should be talking about getting another one from omni.
