Propeller Shaft: CV joint grease leak

Propeller Shaft: CV joint grease leak
A quick word before the problem: I am as new to the S2000 as I am to this forum. I am not the most mechanically inclined person (I am working on it) so please bear with me.
I have a problem. I bought my 01' S2000 and before too long heard a noise coming from the bottom of the car. On the propeller shaft, it turns out one of my bolts came loose near the front end and fell out, causing the washer to hit the side of the car when the shaft spun. Needless to say, I tightened all the bolts. Upon further inspection, it seemed like some of the rear bolts are not oem, so I am just going to order a new set of 12 bolts and just replace them all. What worries me, is that I see that grease was flung out from the CV joint at the front of the propeller shaft (it is most definitely grease and not transmission fluid). I am going to assume it happened when the bolt came loose. I just wondered what I should do about the grease. Obviously the grease is missing from somewhere it belongs, so I was wondering what kind of grease I should buy and how to put it back in.
I did search on the forums in my effort to not create a redundant thread!

Those two threads outline a problem similar to mine. Maybe the answer was simple, but I didn't see anything on how to put more grease into the joints D:
Sorry I don't have any pictures!
Thanks!

I don't think there's any way to grease the joints on the prop shaft. If that shaft's repairable, these guys could tell you http://rockforddriveline.com/

If they are not oem bolts, it may mean that someone cut the old ones off.
When doing this, it is very easy to cut through the thin steel on the shaft and the grease will come out. Clean it off and check it for a small slit by the bolt heads.

You can use a ballpoint grease gun on the very center of the end-cap to pack it. You have to unbolt the shaft from the transmission though. If it's leaking from the end where the strap is, you may just have old grease that's thinning out. The boot is also probably dry. If the boot is torn, Pegasus Racing has a boot that will fit, but you have to do some fabricating to make it work. The other option is used.

CV grease is thinner than "normal" grease.
In the inboard rear CV's the grease is almost as thin as sirup, IOW it almost flows under its own weight.
IMO do not use thicker than NGLI 1 grease with EP (extreme pressure) additives.
The higher the NGLI # the thicker.
