What about the gear train within the SC itself??? I seem to recall Shad saying something about 60,000 rpm...

Dave you're absolutely right, full veg on my part, there's a gear box in the SC I forgot about. I take it all back, I have no fu<king clue how fast the compressor wheel is spinning
I'll shut-up and sit down now, LOL !

The internal step up gearing for the Novi 1000 is 3.54:1, meaning that a pulley speed of 11,000rpm will translate to an impeller speed of 38,940rpm.
The max. impeller speed allowable is 55,000rpm, will provide up to 12psi of boost and will flow 850cfm. The smallest pulley that you could put on the SC is a 3.3" pulley to not exceed the max. impeller speed.

Supposedly, according to Paxton, the Novi 1000 application is good for up to 600hp. Any takers?

So, for future reference, if I want to up the boost (assuming I have AEM EMS by this time, and an intercooler) I just get someone to make me a 3.3" pulley, and I'm good to go? What about the belt, do I need a smaller one, or can the one I have be tightened? What all do I need to eventually do a test boost upgrade?

Make sure you at least change the pistons out before you do that 3.3" pulley change

Why don't you get 2 sets made, then I'll buy them off of you when I'm ready.
