We have been working with company since about July of 2003 to produced a automatic torque biasing differential (LSD). It is designed to prevent loss of drive to wheels without locking together, while still applying some torque to the slipping wheel. They have installed this basic design is cars running as much as 600hp.

This progressive action applies all remaining torque to the wheel with the most traction, which is the best design to gain maximum grip under varying track or surface conditions, also leading to improved controllability and cornering compared with a standard LSD unit.

General:
  • Large bias ratio through variable torque proportioning
  • Less bias change due to less internal wear
  • More consistent under various temperature ranges
  • No special LSD oil or additives needed
  • Improved controllability and drivability

Material:
  • All component are precision manufactured
  • Manufactured from case hardened Billet AE 8620

please keep us posted on the outcome. I would be more than happy to purchase two units considering it does indeed hold up to 600 hp at the wheels. I would also be able to test the unit in a 600rwhp S2000 when you are complete...the car will be waiting.

I don't have a stock unit to weight, but this one weights 12.3 lbs.
