Prototype LSD from Rick's
PS. What will the price range for these be?
And when you have them in stock, think you'll maybe have a package for the 4.57 installed on the lsd with bearings and everything? By and just put it in the pumpkin? (perhaps an idea for a sale or GB
)

I'm so into this lsd that I can't wait to know when it's hitting the market. Do you have an estimated time, and what do you guys think about the package like you can get it with a set of gears? Maybe if alot of people will like that rick will be able to make it a package.
Probably interested.
Had Ganley Honda build me a new rearend with a Comptech rearend, new 4.57s, and all new bearings and seals. Everything new except a used KAAZ LSD from a fellow S2000 owner. I got it on the WTB forum. He said it was perfect condition and low miles. After having the rearend installed today with the new LE 607, it is wineing, sp. Hopefully it will stop when it gets fully broken in.
Does anyone think it is the KAAZ unit? Or the gears. The mechanic that installed it thinks the gears weren't done right.

I think the 4.57's are just whiney. My gear shop told me when I picked up the diff that there was a 50/50 chance of them making noise, which it does. Everyone I know with the 4.57's reports them being noisy/whiney. It doesn't bother me as my car is tracked heavily.
Mine was whining more in 6th at freeway speeds. I am slightly disconcerted but I only have 350 miles to date. I changed fluids today (tranny and diff) and I am glad I did it early.
Hopefully all goes away in the next 1000 miles. I am going to do another change in 350 miles time.

The 4.57s do whine a bit but I know have about 1,500 miles on mine and hardly notice it anymore.
Stratocaster must get all the credit for the LSD development. He's been working on this for about 6 months, and I've been cheering him on!
