Default Ptuning (Manassas, VA) Clutch Install Question

Question for you guys.

On December 6, 2012, I had Ptuning replace the pressure plate, friction disk, and flywheel on my 2000 S2k. Everything turned out great BUT fast forward to this past Sunday. While I was installing spring/shocks and exhaust, I found this:

It’s a picture of the propeller shaft and if you look closely, next to the allen bolt is a hole. I don’t know how it was punctured by I suspect that Ptuning punctured the propeller shaft during the clutch install.

Here's a picture of grease flung from the propeller shaft on the undercarriage:

I called Ptuning and they want to take a look at it. I have an appointment for the tech to look at it tomorrow (3/28). They told me that consider that it’s a 13 year old car and it could be seals going bad but I told them if they look closer, you can see that the metal was punctured. They say they’ll need to look at it.

Do you think they’ll own up to their mistake?

I don’t know how else to explain the hole in the propeller shaft.

Any ideas? ...thanks in advance.

Grease and hole look fresh? If they honestly did it i believe they would take care you. They did my clutch install during my turbo kit install. I trust these guys.

That hole was made by a cutoff wheel or chisel.

^^^ this. Those bolts are notoriously hard to get out and if you strip the head, there is no choice but to cut the head off or "modify" it in a way that allows you to get a grip on it with some other tool.

Thanks for the input, glad I'm able to provide them with an argument. I'm leaving for the shop now, I hope they'll fix it.
