Use your original ECU.

JDM compression is 11.7:1, USDM is 11.0:1.

I would also say you should try and use the USDM ECU if you can. JDM ECU has a rev limiter at 180km/h I believe as well as serious reprogramming issues for the key. If you do decide to use a different ECU, you will have to go to Honda and have them program the ECU to accept the key.

the JDM ECU won't start with your current key. it'd have to be reprogrammed and i dont know if anyone in the US can do it?

Ummm....actually the JDM ECU shouldn't be a problem...provided it IS actually a JDM engine ECU. I'd be willing to say that 99.99999999% of 'JDM engines' on places like ebay are actually USDM.

Remember the JDM s2k doesn't have the imoblizer...no imobilzer no issues with the key.

if you really have a jdm s2k with 11.7:1 cr youll have issues with using 93 oct and the USDM ecu or if you use the jdm ECU and have the 11.7:1 motor youll have issues with 93 octane, just a thought but then agian who siad you were using 93 octane???
