Default Question about Header... What do you guys think ?

I was wondering if the JDM header for the s2000 is the same as the header we get here in the states ? A buddy of mine with a type r replaced his factory header with the factory jdm and he said it was a night and day difference. SO what do you guys think ? Can this be done and will it yield any result or are they the same parts. Thanks in advance. Angel

just as a side note my friend paid 500.00 for the factory jdm header. how mcuh do you guys think a factory s2000 header will run ?

I honestly doubt they are different pieces. Gains from aftermarket headers provide very little if any gain at all across the RPM band.

And where do you propose we get the p/n for the JDM header? Not all parts have the numbers stamped on them (in fact, few do).
