Default Question about an s2000 before i purchase

I know close to nothing about mechanics under the hood so before I purchase this s2000 tomorrow, I thought i'd double check with the smart s2k heads here:
The engine (91k miles) have had failed parts that 'didnt run enough oil', and so the 'cylinder head, piston rings, ect.' were replaced with receipts.
My concern is the health of the engine in the future, and that the repairs werent done at a honda dealership. Repairs were done less than 100 miles ago.
Here is the link to the ad:

Should I consider purchasing this car? What are the Possible cons in the future?
Thanks for your help.

Ps: im lookin to purchase 2004+ s2000s around sf bay area, so if you're thinkign about selling yours, pm me with info

UPDATE:
Thanks guys, I saw the car today. Wasn't what i expected from the pictures. Countless paint chips from rocks, two closed 2" tears on softtop, driveway scrapes, and the makes some weird noises at idle.
HOWEVER, on the way to my car, I checked craigslist one last time while in the area, and saw a 2007 laguna blue with 60k miles listed for 15000, got there within 30 minutes after the time of his post, and bought it for $14 which was a steal . You guys were right, the first car was a rip.

That seems overpriced for a '04 w/ 91k which wasn't beat on.

Yeah, the prices for s2000's here are pretty high, this isn't bad compared to the other ads. Plus, it looks really clean.

Personally i dont like buying cars with fresh motors and low miles. I would rather the motor have a few thousand so i know its all good. However it does have a warranty so at least if there was a mess up during the rebuild it would most likely fail sooner then later. If it fails after that then its probably just a fluke. Price is ehh. Not good, but not terrible. Looks mint minus that front lip but thats expecting.

Why isn't top going down all the way is my question... Tops are pretty expensive if you can't do the labor yourself.

The latter doesn't necessarily mean much IMO. I never use the dealer except for warranty work. Who did the work and what's their track record like?

I guess you called him to find out about the oil starvation since its not in the listing. He told you the engine work was not done by Honda but the listing says it was maintained by a Honda "dealer". He just got the engine repaired and is getting rid of it. The whole thing stinks like %$#@. There is no way I would consider buying that car at that price. It would have to be priced as if it had no engine before I would consider it. There are plenty of other cars out there. You should look else where.

I got my 04 with 56k miles for $16k, your paying too much for it.(then again there was an accident on my carfax, just a lot of body damage that was fixed)

Seems a little over priced. I picked up my 2000 s2000 with 97,000 miles on it for 10,000$. It seems fishy that someone would drop 3500 on the car and than sell it if possible problems still existed, or perhaps he just wanted the next person to have a good running s2k? It really depends on the guy your purchasing it from i guess. If he seems "trustable" than his reason for selling might be valid. 100 miles isnt much. If it was running for 6000 miles id be happier.

Maybe he figured he's take a bigger loss or have a harder time selling a car with "motor doesn't run" in the description.
