Default Question about S2000 Lights

Hello everyone,

First off, just joined today and looking forward to getting some great feedback from everyone here.

I have a 2005 Silverstone, Completely stock except for shifter (moddiciton) & powder coated rims (white).

Tech Question:

My display (dash) lights do not switch over when turning on my HID's at night. Initially the lights in the dash would flicker, now they do not go on at all. The problem is also reflected in the tail lights, as they do not turn on either. Finally, there is no beep when the car is turned off and the HID's left on.

Has anyone encountered this problem, or does anyone have a solution.

I think it is the turn-signal switch, but would like to verify without paying the $100 Honda test fee.

Check your fuses. Dash and taillights are on the same fuse.

I check the fuses and everything is good.

Here is a clear cut explanation of what is happening.

- Rear lights don't turn on when HID's are turned on
- Door alarm does not sound off when HIDs left on and key is out of ignition
- interior display lights don't work

It is especially odd because I was driving yesterday and the rear lights suddenly worked.

Please help me if you can, I have been trying to source information on the net, but there really isn't any valuable info with this problem.

If it isn't the fuse, next most likely suspect is the stop lamp relay under dash. It is the relay right next to the yellow connector, next to 2 15A fuses and 7.5A fuses. Will post pic

Just swap it with the relay right next to it and see if your problem is solved
