Thumbs up Question about tranny fluid

I have a 2005 S2000, and it has about 4200 miles on it. I have noticed while driving other s2000's that have over 30,000 miles, ap1 and ap2, that they shift kind of rough. They all say that it happes as the car gets older, but i kind of find that suprising to hear from sombody talking about a 2004 and a 2002. I was wondering if there is a way to prevent this roughness on mine. I was wondering if using a better tranny fluid would help keep my tranny shifting smooth. Right now I have the stuff that came with it, I am just wondering if there is a better fluid i can be using and if so which one/ones are out there. Also would it be a mistake changing the fluid so early or should i wait till i need to change it to switch from honda fluid to something better if there is anything out there. Thanks for the help.

Try the GMSMFM tranny fluid. its working great in mine. and everyone I know, likes it also. the down side is that it starts to get notchy again after about 5k. theres a bunch of posts on this. do a search and check it out.

With even normal use, the syncros wear. Nothing stays new forever.
