Default Question about Vortech install......Help

I am about to install my vortech kit and had a few questions for those that already installed theirs.

1. Do you have to have these items to install the kit, 07JAB-001020A and 0JAF-001020A damper tools from Honda listed in the instructions? What are these tools used for?

2. I bought honda bond and loctite clear silicone sealant. Don't they do the same thing? Why do you need both?

I don't have any direct experience with the Vortech S/C install, however I wanted to say that Silicon Sealant is generally used as a liguid gasket, not as an adhesive. In the Vortech install it's probably used for the oil pan liquit gasket.
