Default Question for AP2 owners.

I just reinstalled a 04-05 cluster in my 04 AP2. The previous owner had installed an AP1 cluster.
I have a red light on in the cluster when I shut the car off.
The round light just left of the high beam indicator.
Just right of the odometer.
Not lit but you can see it on the picture here:

Is it normal?
What is this light for? When should it come on?
There is no mention of it in the owner's or the shop manuals and no showing of this indicator in the wiring diagram...
I'm confused, help!

Jim

Not sure since my cluster doesn't have an air temp read out. Does it stay on or does it blink? It could be the immobilizer/security light?

Not sure man....

I have the same light on mine. I have no idea what it is, and I've never seen it come on. I think it's an extra space for a light. I seem to remember that the CR might have a functional light in that spot though.

If you have the OEM security ststem then its the security LED, but if you don't then I have no idea. Check under your seat and see if you have a box there. That would be your security system.

Why do I feel like this was asked 5 days ago in s2000 talk D:.
OEM alarm light was the conclusion. If its not lit, you don't have one.
