question on ARC intake and TODA cam
hi, I tried to order an ARC intake for my01, and was told that in order to fit that in a left hand drive , I have to remove the A/C. I know a couple of ppl from this board have ARC intakes, need u guys' experience.
And, regarding toda cams, I was pretty determined to get a pair, then, I was told
that toda spec A cams only add about 10 hps. It's not worthy it. The shop owner suggested toda cam gears + greddy e-manage. Just wanna ur experience with toda cams. Also, I was asking which version of the cams he's talking about, he said there is only one version, the duration and lift r for differen cam lobes, does our car have 3 different cam lobes? thanks.

I suspect you need I/H/E to open them up and make the 10hp claimed by Toda. I picked up 6-8hp in the mid-range and about 5 peak hp.
Oh, and yes, there are three lobes per cylinder per side. A primary & secondary lobe used while on the "low cam". They are slightly different sizes to induce "swirl" in the chamber. And then there is a 3rd lobe which is used above 6K RPM.
