Hey guys, my car has been rattling recently. I suspect its the o-ring gasket, exhaust gasket, or the catylitic converter. My primary o2 sensor where the header is went out for some reason, and i remember reading about how it could destroy the catylitic converter? is this true? The noise i am having is coming from underneathe the car right wher the catylitic converter is, that is why i think it may be a gasket or the converter.
has anyone heard this type of rattling noise before? it goes on at idle and low rpms and goes away. any suggestions? Thanks!

i jacked up my car and checked the piping and exhaust hangers but couldn't find anything rubbing or wrong. The noise is coming from the center section of the lower part of the car. It is making a rattling noise, not a tapping noise.
My best bet is to take my car on a lift, but I haven't had time.
has anyone experienced a rattle like this?
