here are some pics that my friend took with his digicam while I was installing the rotors. I'm still stuck in the stone age with my FILM camera.
and I just felt like throwing this one in

The rotor shown in the picture is spinning the wrong direction . This is not your fault , but Spoon only had one pattern made for directional rotors ( I guess ) so you will always have one spinning the wrong direction .
I am still very interested in the piston diameters .

that's what I wondered about the rotors as far as left and right side being the same.
as for measuring the piston diameters, do you want the measurement to be from outter edge of diameter to outter edge or from inner edge to inner edge of the piston. There's about a 3mm thickness from outter to inner edge then hollow center of the piston (brake pad side) to the other 3mm inner to outter edge.

I need the outer diameter of each piston . You only need to measure one side . I think that Spoon uses different sized pistons . This type of caliper uses a smaller sized leading piston , to compensate for taper pad wear . The effective clamping area of the caliper is determined by the outer diameter of the pistons . ( the brake fluid pushes on the total surface area ,of the diameter of the pistons .

vapors2k,
Do you have photos with the Wheels and Spoon Calipers mounted?
Just installed the SPOON rotors on my S2000 as well...considering getting the SPOON Calipers.
Just need to see another pic with the caliper behind some nice wheels.
Thanks!
