Questions about Mugen Exhaust
In a recent mishap my Mugen exhaust suffered some damage on the driver's side. There is some cosmetic damage at the tip, which doesn't bother me much, but the final section bent to the passenger side some 10 to 15 degrees.
I wonder if this is repairable. What about heating the exhaust knee (where it bent) and try to straighten it out? Is this a recipe for a later disaster?
If not a good idea, does anyone know if Mugen would sell me just the affected piece? (remember that the exhaust comes in 2 pieces)
I'm not in the states so I usually deal directly with Japan and the fluency of it all is not that great, so, I'm not sure if I can sort this out quickly. Any words of advice will be welcome.
Come to think of it this could be a good opportunity to get the Mugen rear bumper as well... the only problem is the fog light that is absent.
