Default Questions RE: Engine Block Heater and Winter Storage

I have been contemplating getting an engine block heater for my S.
I plan on "parking" the car for the winter, maybe drive it once a week (I drove it last winter).
Would parking it and only driving it once a week be detrimental to the engine without a heater?

What needs to be done to it, before I "park" it for the winter.

Any comments / advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

engine block heater is $31.20.

no idea about winterizing anything since we only get two iced-over days a year and a few weeks of winter. its just cold, not snowy and icy.

Sometimes you could mistake my garage for a Barn too Mine isn't heated, and until last winter when we got new doors it got very cold (doors were old with alot of air leaks).

You can get the heater (I don't think it would hurt) and at $30 bucks if it gives you peace of mind then it is worth it.

I think I gave you the link for the batter minder. They also have a 6 volt for motorcycles.
