Quick question
Hi,
I will be leaving my S at home in a garage for a month or two. Is there anything I should do to it?
Is there a way to not let the battery go flat by taking off the connectors or something?
Thanks for any advice!!

Maybe add some fuel stabilizer and run it a little before you mothball it. I don't know if it's necessary for just a couple months, but I doubt it could hurt. I wouldn't wan't the gas to turn into "varnish" or whatever they call it when it gunks everything up.
Also I have heard of people adding a little motor oil (like a teaspoonful) through the spark plug hole in each of the cylinders. I hope that's right, maybe wait for someone else to chime in on that one.

One month, even two, is nothing. This is not consider "long term" storage. Put a smart charger on it to keep the ECU happy and if you know your tires drop air over time, then pump them up a bit higher and adjust them again before you start driving it. Modern day fuels don't need stabilizer for such a short term.
What the guy meant by "service by time" ........................... Take a look at your maintenance schedule. It'll state to do things at a particular mileage or at a particular time interval, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST. If you leave a car sit, then it's not likely you will be logging any mileage. Therefore, you do the service at the "timed" interval and NOT the mileage interval.

I would change the engine oil right before storage. Inflate the tires to 45 psi, top off your gas tank and add Stabil if you wish. Other than that, just make sure its clean inside and out.
If it were mine:
Oil change if it were due, run it till it's warm.
Full fuel tank.
50 psi in the tires.
clean the car, incase of any contaminants that may harm the finish as it sits dormant
Thats it.
