where are our ECU's located? i need to know so i can have an idea as to how far i can mount my v-afc. can you please tell me exactly where it is and how to access it.

I'm looking through the serivce manual and it appears to be just above the driver's side kick panel. I don't think you have to remove anything to access it. But you probably have to be pretty flexible

 

It is there, and it's not tough to get to. The wiring is a little of a pain to get to, though disconnecting it might give enough leeway to work on it down there.

You probably wouldn't have enough cable with the V-AFC to put it any further east than the center console (by the radio). It will probably need to go there or closer to the driver.
