Default quick vtec question

Hey guys...my 01 was kinda acting weird tonight, just wondering if you guys knew what it would be.....ok i was going home and was around 15mph...put it in first at stomped it....it felt like around 6500rpm it would stop pulling for just a quick second then start back back instantly then pull fine all the way else through the gear.....did it a 2nd time and all was fine, did it a third to make sure and i believe it did it again......like I said, it only did it at i think around 6500 to like 6700, so it was very sudden and quick....any ideas?

Thanks in advance

David

like almost everyone would say, it could be a bunch of things. could have been a little hickup from the computer. it can also be the map sensor, where a lot of things like this happen due to a bad connection at the map sensor. just try reseating the connector to the map sensor. do you have any codes?

yes, my cel is on becasue of 02 sensor....3 codes all from that sensor....low voltage, high voltage and heater core...the car has never done this before, but it dies at idle sometimes also, It has some exhaust leaks where we took a toda header, a test pipe and exhaust off as well, so we are waiting to get gaskets in before we replace the 02....but other than that, no codes

There was a thread just a couple of days ago with this type of problem and also with the O2 CEL...it was the ecu flipping out because of the O2 CEL. Once the O2 sensor was fixed, car was back to normal.

Fix 02 sensor problem. Check the oil level.
