VTEC probs
Ive just started having a prob when in VTEC, it feels like a petrol blockage (if you understand what i mean) and then it goes, it feels like a powerr loss, its not all the time and the oil level is fine, which is made me worried, any ideas. . .?
Reset the ECU by disconnecting the neative battery terminal for 5 or 10 mins and also give the map sensor a whack. That should sort your problem.
Do a search for "map sensor" and you'll get more info.

if it feels like the power is coming and going and the car is dropping in and out of vtec, and your fuel consumption has worsened then i had exactly the same thing. disconnect and reconnect the map sensor and give it a tap as the others have said. worked for me.
