The worst one is the top one near the back of the engine. I no longer have an airpump or EGR valve, so I had a tiny bit more room to maneuver pliers. I used 90 degree bent ones. I will say my hands were quite cut up by the end.

Wear gloves, it's so easy to cut your hands with removing those things. Not sure which one your talking about, but I found it easier to take off the 2x 10mm bolts holding this piece to back of block that all the hoses get attach to, then it allowed me to move the hoses to a spot my channel locks could get to. Also put standard worm gears on those things, because screw ever doing it the hard way again.

if you are replacing the hoses anyway, use a blade to slit the hose where it attaches to the neck of the spout. 2" to 3" cut will do. Then just wiggle it out.

I used a hose clamp plier. It has a tab on the end which will lock the clamp open. They make some other kinda as well which use screw lock style. The oem hose clamps provide great clamping force evenly which the worm type doesn't unless you get the kind that is sleeved and allows the clamp not to dig into the hose

I used samco hoses when I did my radiator and ever since I always get a coolant smell. If I had to do it again I would get oem Honda hoses

Thanks for the responses guys! I'll grab a pair of clamp pliers and give it a go, if i still cant do it I might end up just bringing it to the shop...diy failure lol. Any of u run a ab speed overflow with a aftermarket rad? Was also wondering if that will work out since it has a smaller capacity than oem...
