got a hold of the service manual, thanks for the heads up carboncrew. ill have get misho to send me the adaptor plate to get the oem sensor back in there

 

I think you are screwed. The 2000-05 uses a Radiator Fan Switch where as a 2006+ uses an Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, two completely different animals. It appears, from the factory service manual, that Honda changed their cooling strategy beginning in 2006.
