Default Radio asking me for a code?

After the car being with out the baterie for a long time, I turned it back on today, when I turn on the radio, its asking for a code what should I do remove that so it can work? I tried pressing something, and it's giving me error now. Anyone know what I should do?
Thx

Ricardo

If you bought the car new, you should have received a card the size of a credit card that has the radio code on it. If you bought the car used and don't have it then you'll have to take it to a dealer where they will charge you about $80 to contact Honda to get the code for you. Good luck.

You need to give it the code it wants.
Your original purchase documents (with owner's manual, etc.) had a little card included that gave this code. Anything the power is interupted, the radio thinks it's being stolen and goes into "screw you" mode. If you don't have the code, you need to get the radio's serial number. It may be written in various places, but the sure place to find it is on the back of the radio. You must then take your car to the dealer (proof of ownership) and this serial number and they can find out what the code is. Record it somewhere safe when this happens again.

Damnit
well i'm gonna find out if I can get those papers, or I just have to take the radio out and look at the serial.
How about if I put a aftermarket radio? Can I still use the volume control and stuff, or is there a mod to make them work?
Thx

Yes, you can put in an aftermarket HU. To make the dash controls work, you'll need to get a supplementary device. The one that comes to mind is a "PAC unit". You can do a search to find out more about it.
