Radio Code help !

just buy an aftermarket one - once you finally listen to the stock one youll junk it anyway

check for a little sticker on the inside of the glovebox door - sometimes dealers put it there - it contains the serial # and radio code and is a duplicate of the sticker found on your radio card.
If the radio was replaced under warranty the original radio code sticker won't match the replacement radio code
replacement radios come with new code sticker. just like if they were new from the factory. the tech that replaced the radio should have covered the old code sticker with the new one. at least that is what we always do at where i work.

It depends if a sticker was put there at PDI. Not all dealers put them on, or in the same place.

Ok, i pulled the radio and got the numbers, but my honda dealer wanted me to pay....ugh.. Soo any honda parts guy want to chime in ?

That's the whole idea behind having to go to the dealer. So you can prove you actually own the car and the radio. Over the internet, how does anyone know you aren't the thief?

I shoulda mentioned i went to the dealer to get the code. I just picked the wrong dealership i guess.

I'll try and stop by the dealer i buy my parts from. Oh well

Don't worry about it, I managed to get the code from another dealer for free ! No more listening to wind noise.
