Default Raising the Steering Wheel?

Is there any way to raise the steering wheel/ column about an inch or even two, so that I can get clearance for my hugely muscled thighs?

You might consider lowering the seat.

lower the seat by taking out some of the foam and drilling new seat bolt holes a little lower. there is an old thread somewhere on how to do it with pictures. search for it. the steering wheel isn't adjustable.

Thanks very much. The thread on lowering the seat is just what I was looking for. I'll give up on raising the steering wheel and I sure don't want a smaller wheel. A 1 - 1 1/2 inch drop in the seat ought to work real good, but I wonder how the seat looks compared to the roll loop behind it and the passenger seat? May have to drop both seats to make it look decent.
