So my 02 ap1 keeps misfiring in cylinders 2,3,4 codes 1302, 1303, 1304 and a 1399 for random misfire. I've changed plugs and it still is doing it. Does anyone know why the coils are suppose to read on an ohm meter so I can test those before further investigating the valves?

 

i dont know what the ohm should read, but it sounds like a coil pack to me, had that problem twice. now i keep spare coil packs..

 

Check if the coils are bad.


Pull one coil (one at a time) off the spark plug. If you don't hear a clicking noise, that's the faulty coilpack.

 

you are misfiring at multiple cylinders....when was your last valve adjustment done ?
