A spray can rattle (sounds like BB's) is probably a bad catalytic converter. Hit it a few times to see if you get the noise...should be covered under warranty.

Hey...I wanted to update this thread with a possible solution to the rattle. Just this morning I had my oil change/maintenance A done at my local Honda dealer. I started up my car and as I did that, Driver #8, a forum member and tech manager at the dealer, was coming out of the garage so I honked to say goodbye to him. As I got out of my car it started to make a noticeably loud rattle. So he went in to get the tech. The tech was kind of freaked out at first too but he soon discovered what it was.

There was a 2" x 2" thick, plasticky sticker that Honda put on the engine block, probably for inventory and tracking purposes during assembly. This sticker was touching the engine crank pulley. The tech pulled it off and the noise was totally gone. I also noticed that the noise while driving is gone. Its the baseball card in a spoke effect I think.....not noticeable as a rattle at high speeds, but noticeable at lower speeds as a rattle due to the engine's lower operating rpms, which is why its only really audible as a rattle at low speed operation, and some kind of buzzing noise while driving fast past guardrails and underpasses and such.

Yeah, did it have numbers and like a bar code on it? The tech spotted it and pulled it off. Noise is definitely gone....even when I go past guardrails and underpasses with the window down, and I did a lot of driving today just to listen for it. Hope you get yours sorted out.

I got the rattle. I've heard stuff about something with the CDV for the whining thing.
