i drive a 04 s2000 with about 49000 miles on it. its been making an annoying rattling noise.

the rattle starts coming at about 2000-3000 rpm after it warms up for a little. the longer i drive the louder it gets. the noise seems to be coming from the engine. whether im in gear or in neutral doesnt make a difference. its not the heat shield.
any ideas?

 

Can you post a vid so we can hear it? Kinda hard to diagnose with that description.

 

haha im an idiot. i just changed the oil n it went away.
