I am putting my head back together and I just need to know if there is a difference between the 2 cam shafts and if so how do I tell them apart? Thanks.

Yes, they are different. on it mark with "IN" and the other with "EX" .
Also if you miss the timing by even one tooth the car will not start.

One cam has "IN" stamped into it, for "intake".
One cam has "EX" stamped into in, for "exhaust".

Thats what stratocaster was trying to tell you...

Why would you remove the cams, not knowing if they are marked or not?
