Default real world s2k modification try and succesfully

I install innovative engine and transmission mount on my ap2 s2000 2005. Price, only 314$ plus shipping and taxes. Pro: perfect oem fittment, really easy to install (allow you 3 hours and you can install them on jack stand on your driveway, not the perfect comfort but you can do it!!!). First, if you have an engine damper, disconnect it and re-ajust them after, if not, it will not fit perfect after and you will need anyway to re-adjust it!!) First, initial feeling is really lots of cabin shacke, trim (inside and outside, like bumper will rattling and you will need to insulate to resolve it!!!) After breack time (1500 miles for me), it will smoother slightly but you will need to re-torque them to be sure that the sleeve of the bolts is fully contact the bracket, if not, you will have a premature bushing deform. Finally, its good if you like subaru sti motor characteristic vibration feeling rough inside cabin and if you have a ingalls engine damper with differantial collars, its not a good add except if you REALLY LIKE cabin shacking feeling and rough motor vibration (like STI, not the motor sweetness that we expect of a s2000 motor!!!)

So basically you can pay $314 to make the cabin rougher and louder than it needs to be for no good reason at all.

I think I'll pass.

eh.. the stock mounts allow the motor and trans to move around quite a bit.. to me it feels sloppy. I enjoy a completely direct feeling between my pedals and the road, a solid hub clutch, 75a mounts and solid diff mounts made the car communicate 100X better than with stock parts on the car. It does vibrate more and is a little louder, but i'll take that vs driving a sports car with a sloppy drivetrain.

The best upgrade for me is ingalls engine damper with excedium racing differential collars, same precision without vibration, Innovative mount is good but to me (i install it after damper and collars), it dont really add more precision, it add very lots of communicative feeling but with really rough cabin vibration and rattle!! (to be positive, it smooth with time but you need to like MGB feeling and miss the smooth S2000 oem feel!!!)
