Just take an impact wrench and just give the knuckle some vibration, and it'll pretty much fall out.

And as others have said, NO PICKLE TOOL. Not good for the boot.

ditto on the hammer, works for me....but slick rick...you don't even need to disconnect the shocks, it can be done with the wheels on, no jacking required except to support the diff, even the rear tie bar stays on the car. Only thing you remove is the bolts holding the axles to the diff.
