Rear Diff Fluid Change

Rear Diff Fluid Change
2 Quick questions. 1. While I have alittle extra money I think im going to change the rear diff fluid in the S. The car has about 12,500 miles on it is this premature? I dont drive the balls out of the car but I dont take it easy all the time either. 2. I dont feel like ordering the amosol fluid off HTG because im gonna change the fluid this Tuesday the 30th because it's going to be sunny and warm. Is the OEM fluid that my local dealer has good?
Thanks

if your familiar with puddydaddy, he builds kick ass diffs for s2ks. i asked him what he reccommended, since he is well regarded on this site. he said to use
i followed his reccomendation and its so far so good. the only thing i will mention, when you add the stabilizer the oil becomes honey rofl. makes for a pita gettting it in the diff.
either way, i trust his judgement and i hope you do to.
70% Lucas 80/90 gear oil and 30% Lucas oil stabilizer with anti shock, use this oil in the rear.
The stabilizer will keep the oil stabile at 90W and the anti shock helps keep the oil from braking down to fast. The rear will run quieter with this blend as well.
Good oil to use 70/30 blend
