I agree that on paper AMSOIL SVT 75W-110 looks great on paper, but I'm still waiting to see some test results...anyone have some to show us???
I want to wait another 2000 miles - to get at least 8,000 miles on my current diff fill, and then I'll send it in for analysis. If you're patient - I'll keep it in for another 5,000 beyond that. Either way - I can assure you without any reservation or question - Amsoil SG is second to none to any other gear oil out there.
For example - My last diff (with the original run of Richmond 4.57 gears installed) was never set up correctly. It was one of the early HTG diffs set up at Ganley Honda. Nevertheless, I ran Amsoil in that diff for years, and the gear oil came out clean every time. The diff was noisy as heck because it was not set up properly - but the fluid was clean every 15K.
Puddy replaced that diff with his Stage IV (4.44 gearset). He drained the old 4.57 diff before removing it, and was stunned at how clean the fluid was - especially based on the noise the diff was making. He drained it with just under 15k on the fill.
