Rear Diff oil 75w90 OR 80w90?

Default Rear Diff oil 75w90 OR 80w90?

ok i read awhile back to go out and get some 75w90 mobil1 gear oil for the rear diff. but now i hear that honda no longer reccommends 75w90 and to you use 80w90. Is this true???? what do you think 75w90 or 80w90 and what kind???? thanks.

and yes i have searched and cant find any reall accurate info so let me know thanks again

I just changed mine and used mobil 1 75w-90, make sure you pick up the non-LS(limited slip) one.

I use 70% Lucas Oil 80/90 & 30% Lucas Oil Stablizer.

for a street driven car, a quality GL-5 syn 75w-90 should be fine...heavier oils will cost you a little gas mileage...just change it every 15-20k miles or so

its for conventional and lsd. why would i want a fluid for non lsd if the car HAS an lsd.? lol

yea i know that 75w90 mobil 1 isnt as good as SAE90w but why do people keep saying that honda doesent reccommend using 75w90 when i pulled this right off the honda in network
