Default rear suspenison problem...

I can't get my right rear negative camber past -1.3... and i'm lowered.

Something is bent. i hit a curb a while ago with my right rear wheel.

can't see anything visually - i'm just wondering what has a better chance of being bent, the lower control arm or the spindle itself?

Thanks
Luke

UPDATE:
I replaced the upper and lower control arms.

The lower arm didn't even require a ball joint tool... it just sparated on its own and dropped out.

My car still WILL NOT align. The most camber I can get is about -1.5 without the toe going out of whack.

hmmmmmm....

What next? knuckle?

Is it odd that the lower arm came off the ball joint so easily? (I think I may need to replace the lower ball joint now as well... that does not seem right, as everyone said I would need a ball joint remover tool - and I did, but only for the upper arm, which was a PITA!)

Given those two choices, I'd say control arm. Why don't you have Pinyo look at it?

You are talking about part # 12-13 or # 3-4 right?
There is no "spindle" in # 3-4 as far as the picture goes IMO.
Maybe it's the lower ball joint? (I guess thats part # 4)

Good luck

spindle/knuckle i guess... what everything (wheel, brakes, etc...) is attatched to.

My quesiton is basically what has a tendency to bend/break first? So I know where to start. Everything looks fine visually...

Could be lots of things. You might have bent one of the adjuster bolts or the ball joints even.

For camber I'd be looking at, 12,13, 16,17 and 3,4 though I doubt it's the spindle/hub.

Bolt 24 is the camber adjuster right? I might examine it and 23 closely. Since the spindle, upper and lower control arms are cast iron, I'd assume they'd break instead of bend.

That's one fine looking suspension.

the camber adjustment bolt WAS bent and replaced, my camber was extremely positive and my toe extremely off when i hit (about 1 1/2 years ago). that made the suspension "alignable" but now I come to find out, only to a certain degree.

That was my initial thought, cast iron will break, not bend.

16 17 is the upper control arm and bolts. I will check on those as well.

I just hear the spindle/knuckle bends easily, so i thought it might be the problem, just trying to make sure.

It is the S2000 rear suspension.

How does it compare to the other side? Sounds to me like you might need a body shop with frame machine to take a look at it. Maybe you bent the subframe or mounting bolts? It's not likely but, possible.
