Default rear swaying back and forth @ high mph

I do not know where this is coming from. The rear sways left to right above 80mph on WOT. It is a gently sway but enough so i can feel it. It only happens when going above 80 mph on a 3rd gear WOT pull.

Any ideas of what it could be? ...

Could a blown shock cause this?
Wheel Balance?
or the differential malfunctioning?...

Another thing is when I floor it in first gear and shift to second the rear end seems to sway in a direction and the steering wheel jerks. Is this common problem since it being rwd what does the front wheels have to do with the 'torque steer'?...

Three possible avenues IMO are: Wheel balance, bad tire or bad alignment.

Also check to see if you have one rear tire w/ low pressure.

I just got an alignment the other week. The rear has -1.5 on both and .2 toe in on both, to total .4 toe in on the rear... would that make it wobble like that?

-The tires are new as well, so i will be checking if it lost balance or not.

things to check:

-Alignment
-Tire pressure
-Check for flat spots on the tire
-Check if you have a Foreign object on the tires
-Check if any of the balanced weights fell off

Does it do it on a particular road, or does it do it on all roads?

It happens on all roads.

-I took the wheels off and examed them, nothing seems to be out of place, so all i need to do now is take it to a shop to see if they aren't balanced.

Edit: Hmm when a wheel is not balanced dosen't it cause the car to vibrate or shake. My car is wobbling left to right. it isn't vibrating at all or shaking.

Once again does toe in, on the rear tires cause it to wobble?

sorry for another post, but this just came to me, could a bent suspension part, i.e knuckle, lower control arm, cause a wobble in the suspension? or would it cause a wobble throughout every rpm.

ok i think i found the problem. I jacked the rear end up in the air and kept the tires on and then shook the tires violently. The driver side tires wobbbles up and down and side to side. So i considered the ball joints? i re-tightened them and it still does it... could my ball joints go bad? the car only has 25k on it.
