Default Rear Toe In is 24in for Both? Or Per Wheel?

In the owner's manual, it states that the rear toe spec is REAR TOE IN 24in. I was curious, is this per wheel to bring the total toe in at 48in? Or is the 24 the total toe in, which means each rear wheel would have 12in of toe in? I am baffled!

I'll take a stab at it. I am going to assume that this is total toe. Individual toe settings (per wheel) have to be adjusted in such a way that all four wheels are square. After the car is square, then total toe can be set.

I think it is 0.25". It should be total rear toe in = 0.25"

If you had 0.25" on either side you would know when you turn.

Lol. Sorry, I meant .25inch, not 25 inch. Asura, I actually had .24 inches of toe per wheel. I got it redone, .12 inches per rear wheel, both toe in. Handles like it used to. Also the camber setting in the manual says 0 degree 30' for the front and the rear is 1 degree 30'. Am I correct in stating that the mark is for minutes? 60 minutes=1 Degree? That means the front is 0.5 degrees negative camber and the rear is 1.5 degrees negative camber?

On the UK optimal settings sheet, there are double commas, like this----> ". That is seconds, but how do you translate that??? Differences in measurement symbols confuse the hell out of me.

The UK settings are a good place to start for a street car if you would like to maintain some tire longevity while improving handling.

Personally, I think they (UK specs) are too tame and greater tire wear is a fair trade-off for significantly improved handling. But that is just my opinion.

1 degree = 60 seconds
1 degree = 3600 seconds
