Default Rearend gear break in procedure

I had the new 4.57 installed and they are in my car now. I can't find the break in procedure. Can anyone help. I looked on Rick's install page and no luck.

Thanks

Drive at normal street speeds for about 10 miles, then stop and let the diff cool for about 30 minutes. Do this 2-3 times and you are set to fly!

I am not trying to cause any controversy, but I broke my gears in over 1000miles with increasing load and heat cycles and I have no whining issues... why is was there a different break in procedure for the 4.77?

Actually i let mine break in for about 500 miles for initial break in babying the car stopping and going. but yeah I also let mine break in for like almost 2000 miles, After 2000 miles was when I actually ramped on it 100%

Took it relatively easy (No VTEC) for 300 miles then let it rip. No whirring/whining at any point after the installation.

I have 4.77's

The 4.57's whine. I can't speak for the other gears but realize that the 4.57's are from a different manufacturer and for whatever reason they whine. The break in process used doesn't determine whether they whine or not.

O.K. This is good stuff. Does anyone else have 4.57s that whine. It actually makes me feel better that some other 4.57s whine. At least I feel that my rearend might have been put together correctly and I will just live with the whinning.
