Rearview mirror in my line of sight
Has anyone modified their mirror or swapped it for another? I have a long torso, which means the mirror is in my line of sight. I was thinking that if I cut the mirror arm and either moved it up closer to the window & frame that would give me another inch or so under it, or possibly extending the arm so that it comes further into the cabin (so that the map lights would be behind it). I guess an easier way might be to find a thinner mirror, but I don't know of any. I don't feel comfortable driving without the mirror, so I'd like to know if any others have had the same problem and what they've done.
most rearview mirror swaps call for a larger mirrored surface for better rearward visibility so i doubt u could find a smaller mirror than the stock.. you could try moving it but it might lead to a butchered mess..
anyone else?
anyone else?
I have a lanechanger but my purpose is to remove blind spots.
Its a little too big for my taste but it does the job for me.
