Well that was my bad then because I meant Amazon not ebay, and I bought it new. Something like a torque wrench I wouldn't buy used. I'm not doing a ton of work on the car but its something I should have for things like spark plugs, banjo bolts, etc...

I bought a CDI Torque Products (snap on) for ~$126 shipped. It has a 3/8" drive and a 10-100 lb/ft range. It was either this or the precision instruments one for me after reading all the reviews and trying to keep the price reasonable for a decent range torque wrench.

The model I picked up is a 1002MFRMH

Called in my order here:

So far so good.

why is it important to get an expensive torque wrench? i figured as long as the wrench can go to your torque specifications its good.... omg... i'm gonna get flamed

its important for me because i work on cars for a living, but for the person occasionally working on their car its not that important, but its still nice to have a nice torque wrench, and 126 bucks for a torque wrench isn't expensive at all considering the cost of mods on the s2k

It doesn't have to be "expensive". If you find a good, quality wrench, then you're better off in the long run since you don't have to replace it often. I don't use it as often as Mrfixit687 or others but after reading some reviews on certain brand names and models, I decided to go with a decent torque wrench and spend a little more. It's all up to your personal needs and preference though.
