I was wondering what type of oil most people are using in their S2000's? I recently bought a 2005 and am new to the group. Thanks.

 

i use canola oil...jk lol but on a srs note just search.

I use Amsoil Signature Series 0w-30 year round.

 

5w30 syn oil. mobil 1 works, penzoil (what I'm currently running) and any of the 'expensive' oils are all good.

If you run any syn you're golden. The motor was build to run on regular oil so the added protection of syn cannot hurt

 

just had oil changed to Motul 10w40 6100 Synergie Series Synthetic Engine Oil. recommended by local shop who serves many s2ks in this area.

 

For a street car any synthetic really. Just change often.

Mobil 1 Syn running extended intervals 1000 miles over maintenance minder. 160K no problems. The 1000 miles only buys me a little over a week, I drive a lot.
