I'm sorry, this might sound weird. But I got my s2k used a few months ago and I just noticed it has red springs. Does it come like this or is it aftermarket, if aftermarket how do I find out what they are?

Also, I don't have an owners manual, I checked the 'secret compartment' nope, so what's a good CHEAP source to get one? I don't want to pay $50 for a manual considering I'm just a student and not really earning!
